According to new research, 3 out of 4 companies said that, over the last year, compensation has been a sticking point when it comes to hiring. While not a new issue, it is one that has been exacerbated by a very tight labor market.
Part of the challenge is that market pay is a moving target. However, it’s also important to acknowledge that there is a considerable gap between recruiting and compensation leaders and their separate priorities.
