We are seeking a talented individual to join our Placement Broker team at Marsh. As a Placement Broker, you will work closely with colleagues, insurers, and clients to provide a first-class broking service, focusing on middle market corporate clients' insurance programmes.
We will count on you to:
Lead on implementation of placement strategy for renewals in collaboration with colleagues.
Understand the business needs, insurance requirements, and risk management strategy of our clients and convey to insurers.
Undertake appropriate research and analysis to select markets and design an insurance programme to meet the client’s requirements.
Provide recommendations and advice on placement strategy, programme structure, and market conditions including occasional presentations to clients where appropriate.
Provide regular updates to the Client Service teams on progress of insurer negotiations.
Utilise the Marsh online trading system (Eurotrade 2).
What you need to have:
Experience in the insurance industry is desirable.
Awareness of Clients’ business and their business issues.
Strong communication skills.
Excellent trading & negotiation skills.
