Placement Broker

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Placement Broker team at Marsh. As a Placement Broker, you will work closely with colleagues, insurers, and clients to provide a first-class broking service, focusing on middle market corporate clients' insurance programmes.

We will count on you to:

• Lead on implementation of placement strategy for renewals in collaboration with colleagues.

• Understand the business needs, insurance requirements, and risk management strategy of our clients and convey to insurers.

• Undertake appropriate research and analysis to select markets and design an insurance programme to meet the client’s requirements.

• Provide recommendations and advice on placement strategy, programme structure, and market conditions including occasional presentations to clients where appropriate.

• Provide regular updates to the Client Service teams on progress of insurer negotiations.

• Utilise the Marsh online trading system (Eurotrade 2).

What you need to have:

• Experience in the insurance industry is desirable.

• Awareness of Clients’ business and their business issues.

• Strong communication skills.

• Excellent trading & negotiation skills.
