What is a Radiologic Technologist?

A Radiologic Technologist is responsible for operating imaging equipment such as X-ray machines, CT scanners, and MRI machines to produce diagnostic images of patients' internal structures. They work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure that high-quality images are obtained and accurately interpreted. In addition to operating the equipment, they also position patients, explain procedures, and ensure that safety protocols are followed to minimize radiation exposure. Radiologic Technologists must have a strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, as well as excellent communication and patient care skills.
