Primary Job Function:

Delivers product and skill training for customers and/or employees. Provides feedback regarding effectiveness of programs and makes recommendations to increase effectiveness and efficiency.

Core Job Responsibilities:

Responsible for implementing and maintaining the effectiveness of the quality system.

1. Delivers training strategy and plan to support customer and/or employee training including front-of-classroom and field observation activities.

2. Acts as central point of contact for new employees and liaison to training program managers

3. Supports training events and courses for new employees and existing employees

4. Including class; people; strategy and business; incorporates feedback to continually improve program

Position Accountability / Scope

This position has training responsibility for all customers and employee training within the Area. It includes oversight of employee performance during new hire training.

Minimum Education:

4 year Bachelor’s Degree preferred or relevant experience demonstrating the equivalent skills.

Minimum 2 years of related experience

IDEAL/PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

* Medical Technologist and/or Clinical Lab Scientist and/or Clinical Lab Supervisor experience from any of these: hospital lab or clinical lab, would be highly preferred.

Minimum Experience / Training Required

At least two years’ experience in a field based sales/service/support role necessary. Must have an understanding of basic learning principles and adult learning theory. Presentation skills, and consultative skills necessary. Must have diagnostic product knowledge. Person has a demonstrated, proven track record of driving for results.
