Grandview Mercantile has the most unique scope of fine furniture, art, antiques, jewelry, and one-of-a-kind items come through our doors weekly. We're looking for a talented Visual Merchant to add to our team!

What a day in the role looks like:

• Communicating and collaborating often with the existing visual team to strategize, the consignment team to facilitate the movement of new merchandise, the management team for high-level direction, and web team to support items and vignettes being shot for the website.
• Switching projects frequently based on needs of the business, deliveries, or changes in creative direction or schedule; remaining flexible and open to change
• Using a working knowledge of interior design, furniture trends, staging, antiques & vintage, and/or fine art to execute vignettes, display windows, and specialized areas in the store
• Using time wisely between projects and deliveries and remaining flexible as it pertains to daily/weekly workflows and team support needs

Skills & Experience needed:

• At least 2 years of visual merchandising experience in either design, furniture sales, fashion, home staging, or a related field
• Self-starter; able to take direction but also make quick decisions at a moments notice
• Have both the ability to adapt to a flexible day-to-day workflow, and reprioritize the day and multitask as needed
• Must be able to lift, push, and manage up to 50lbs regularly (skids, dollies, and team assistance available)
• Must be a great communicator, team centered, and highly collaborative

Part of the interview process may include setting up a visual presentation in-store
