Vendor Quality Control Analyst evaluates vendor operations, products, and services for compliance with government and company quality standards. Conducts audits and testing of products, materials, and processes to measure effectiveness and compliance with company expectations. Being a Vendor Quality Control Analyst analyzes and monitors metrics and KPIs to suggest improvement initiatives. Works with vendors and identifies alternative vendors to mitigate risks and resolve problems. Job Description:
The Jr. Compliance/Quality Control Analyst will be member of the Compliance Team focusing on the regulatory and operational quality control of all aspects of consumer lending (Automobile, Home Improvement and Residential Mortgage). In addition, this position is responsible for gathering vendor documentation to support the Bank’s vendor management function. This position will also assist with the gathering of audit preparation materials for audits conducted by third party audit firms. This is a support role that assists the compliance team with the administration of the compliance management program at the Bank.
This position performs job functions on-site and reports directly to the Compliance/BSA Officer.
Required Skills and Experience:
· 1 years’ experience in the banking industry a plus. (Retail and/or Lending; Quality Control; Quality Assurance; or Risk and Compliance.)
· Strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities concurrently and accurately within required timelines.
· Knowledge of internal computer applications/systems such as, MS 365, Encompass, TCI, Rata Comply, and Calyx Point a plus.
· General knowledge of the consumer lending industry and quality control requirements desirable.
· Assist compliance team and business lines to continually improve processes, efficiency, and accuracy.
Personal Traits / Competencies:
· Organized, strong attention to details, works independently.
· Strong written and oral communications skills.
· Mortgage compliance and QC full audit experience preferred.
· Banking industry experience a plus.
· Must be a self-starter with strong analytical, judgment and multi-tasking skills.
· Must have excellent communication skills.
· Ability to succeed in a teamwork environment.
· Detail oriented with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
