This role supports our Navy customer in Lexington Park, MD.
Job Description and Responsibilities:
Install, configure, and maintain an organization's local area network (LAN), data communications network, operating systems, and physical and virtual servers. Perform System monitoring and verify the integrity and availability of hardware, network, and server resources and systems. Review System and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs, including system backups. Analyze network and server resource consumption
and control user access. Install and upgrade software and maintain software licenses. May assist in network emulation/virtualization, analysis, planning, and coordination between network and data communications hardware and software.Responsible for managing Solaris and RHEL servers hosted on-prem, virtually and through AWS.
-Write and use Ansible playbooks to assist with automating workflow to decrease the amount of time spent on common tasks, such as monthly patching, OS builds, local account creations and other OS related tasks.
-Building RHEL 7 and 8 machines both from disk installs and from templates.
-Manage and troubleshoot satellite related issues related to patching.
Basic Requirements: Security certification. Must meet Navy CSWF Network & Computer Sys Admin, Intermediate requirements.

Security Clearance: Secret or above (must be a US Citizen). Ability to obtain Top Secret.
Telework and Travel: On Site 2x per week. No travel.
