Additionally, Treasury Analyst determines procurement of funds, and monitors investments and collections. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Treasury Analyst work is closely managed. Works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. To be a Treasury Analyst typically requires 0-2 years of related experience.     The Treasury Analyst is a key member of our corporate treasury department, responsible for a variety of tasks and projects surrounding operational cash management. This position works with stakeholders across many departments, both internally and external to WireCo.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    • Manage daily cash reporting activities, initiate payments, administer online banking access, and resolve bank issues
    • Monitor and record corporate banking activity
    • Manage global revolving credit facility activities
    • Review and report global cash on a daily and monthly basis
    • Perform mandated monthly and quarterly reporting requirements for term loan and revolving credit facilities
    • Support annual revolving credit facility borrowing base audit
    • Consolidate global cash forecasts on a quarterly basis
    • Assist with spot FX trades, as needed
    • Prepare month-end treasury journal entries
    • Facilitate intercompany loan payments and maintain intercompany interest files
    • Lead KYC (know your customer) requests from banking partners, as needed
    • Provide international locations with general banking support
    • Assist T&E (travel and expense) Administrator with global program administration, reporting, and analytics as needed
    • Monitor and support global purchasing card programs
    • Perform ad hoc analysis for management reporting

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance required
    • One year of relevant work experience
    • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
    • Ability to handle multiple projects and effectively prioritize tasks
    • Ability to meet communicated deadlines
    • High level of problem-solving and analytical skills
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills at all levels of organization
    • Highly detail-oriented and well organized
    • Ability to learn new tasks quickly

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 2–3 years of relevant work experience
    • Previous experience in administrating online banking, T&E, and/or credit card programs
    • Proficient with OneStream and/or JD Edwards
    • Previous experience with ABL (asset-based loan) credit facilities and reporting

Treasury Analysts seem to be robots plugging in numbers to spreadsheets, but the Director of Billing basically is responsible for and involved in all accounting related to revenues – deferring unearned, accruing unbilled, dealing with auditors, analyzing to ensure accuracy, determining appropriate accruals for bad debt, some forecasting of future billing and/or cash flow, etc.
