The Marketing Specialist will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote our travel agency and attract new customers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Onboard new independent travel agent contractors, including conducting orientation sessions, providing training on company processes and systems, and ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
    • Monitor and evaluate the performance of independent contractors, including reviewing sales metrics, and adherence to company standards.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with independent contractors, serving as the main point of contact for any questions, issues, or support needed.
    • Provide ongoing training and support to independent contractors, offering guidance on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer service best practices.
    • Ensure independent contractors are compliant with industry regulations, company policies, and ethical standards, including handling confidential client information with care.
    • Assist in resolving any disputes or conflicts between independent contractors and clients, working to find mutually beneficial solutions.
    • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to coordinate efforts with independent contractors and optimize business opportunities.
    • Conduct regular performance reviews with independent contractors, setting goals, providing feedback, and identifying areas for improvement.
    • Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market changes, sharing insights with independent contractors to help them stay competitive.
    • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with potential independent contractors and promote our services.
    • Develop and execute marketing campaigns to promote our travel agency, including digital marketing, social media, email marketing and more.
    • Create compelling content for our website, blog, social media channels, and other marketing materials.
    • Collaborate with the sales team to develop promotional materials and sales tools.
    • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and make recommendations for improvements.
    • Build and maintain relationships with key industry partners and influencers.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Marketing or related field (preferred)
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience in travel management or marketing, with focus on the travel industry preferred
    • Strong knowledge of travel industry trends, products, and best practices
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with independent contractors and clients
    • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and travel management software
    • Certification in Travel and Tourism (preferred)
    • Passion for travel and a desire to help others experience the world
