What you should know:

This retail leader will oversee the daily operations of a shoe store in order to maximize sales and maintain operational company standards.

· Management/supervisory skills required.

· Retail experience preferred.

· Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

· Must have a passion for excellent customer service.

· Must be available various hours, including nights and weekends.

· Must be able to hire, train, maintain, and retain staff.

· Must be able to operate company computer systems.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee all store operations and ensure efficient and effective functioning
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets and increase profitability
- Manage and motivate a team of sales associates to deliver outstanding customer service
- Create and maintain a positive and welcoming store environment
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate stock availability
- Conduct regular staff training sessions to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Maintain accurate records of sales, expenses, and inventory
- Implement loss prevention measures to minimize theft and maximize store security
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional activities

Experience:
- Proven experience in store management or a similar role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in budgeting, payroll management, and financial analysis
- Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail software applications
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Ability to negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms
- Solid mathematical skills for inventory management and cash handling
