Kemper is seeking a Total Loss Claims Manager to report to the Henderson, NV office. The Total Loss Claims Manager will manage the total loss team which is accountable for the resolution of total loss claims. Focuses on claims resolution, customer service, and accuracy within the National Operation.
Position Responsibilities:
Ensures development of staff by recruiting, interviewing, and training employees
Accountable for total loss performance as it relates to metrics and goals.
Responsible for communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, coaching, developing and disciplining employees.
Ensures compliance with policies and procedures.
Ensures timely and proper handling of claims.
Completes audits monthly to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timely claims handling.
Approves payments, reserve changes and other activities in excess of the authority extended to employees.
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
5 years of claim handling experience.
Total Loss/Physical Auto Damage experience.
Prior supervisory/management experience preferred.
Good analytical skills necessary to evaluate production staff requirements and results, problem solving, internal reporting and technology enhancement evaluation.
Must obtain and maintain all applicable licensing for required states to which assigned.
This is a hybrid position reporting to the Henderson, NV office.
The range for this position is $70,700.00 to 120,900.00. When determining candidate offers, we consider experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location among other factors. This job is also eligible for our Kemper benefits package (Medical, Dental, Vision, PTO, 401k, etc.)
