    Summary/Objective:


    Public Relations Executive is responsible for growing, shaping, and maintaining a company's reputation and brand. The Public Relations Executive is tasked with identifying media opportunities, maintaining existing media relations, and promoting positive public awareness of the company through external communications. 


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Draft press releases, pitches, case studies, white papers, and media summaries.
    • Build relationships with new media contacts and maintain relationships with existing contacts.
    • Manage media requests in a timely and professional manner.
    • Pitch story ideas and content to the media.
    • Ensure all communication is cohesive with the brand image.
    • Track and analyze media coverage to inform future campaigns.
    • Measure PR program impacts using regular reporting.
    • Organize, schedule, and prepare key leaders for press interviews.
    • Managing and preventing reputational risk to client brand.
    • Drafting written, verbal, and visual content that will promote the public image of the business.
    • Developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Measuring the success of public relations activities and campaigns according to set KPIs.
    • Producing and presenting reports on all public relations activities and KPIs.
    • Speaking on behalf of the company at interviews and press conferences.
    • Copyedit, proofread, and revise communications.
    • Develops and/or executes social media and content strategies to release information on the organization in a manner that will promote a positive public image.
    • Develop marketing communications campaigns.

    Preferred Education and Related Experience:


    Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing, or related field required.

    3-4 years of experience in public relations or corporate communications.

    Accreditation as a Licensed Public Relations Professional by the local State Department, required.


    Physical Demands:


    Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.


    Schedule Requirements: 


    Due to the nature of the business this position requires to work Monday to Friday day shifts but must be available to work flexible shifts, holidays & weekends should it be asked.
