Top Product Development Executive provides leadership, vision, and strategy for new product development and product lifecycle management of existing products. Oversees research and concept development activities to innovate new products, product enhancements, and product redesign. Being a Top Product Development Executive conducts market analysis and interacts with customers and prospects to identify new markets, articulate the value proposition, define requirements, and lead the development of a product roadmap. Champions new product development and leads collaboration with internal stakeholders, including marketing, sales, and manufacturing, to ensure that new and existing products support the organization's financial goals. Additionally, Top Product Development Executive requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The Top Product Development Executive manages a business unit, division, or corporate function with major organizational impact. Product Development / Applications / Food Scientist (R&D)

  • The Product Development Applications Food Scientist (R&D) is responsible for flavor development, food formulations, product evaluations, validations, and new food application development projects for customers. We are looking to hire 2 people - one is more experienced and one is entry level.


    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Evaluate and/or validate flavor and food formulations based on business needs. Work on customer driven projects to achieve various objectives, such as formulation with new and innovative ingredients, cost reduction, product matching, flavor enhancement, flavor masking, and clean label improvements.
    • Learn and use processing equipment in lab and pilot plant with minimal supervision. Scale up formulas from kitchen/lab-scale environment to pilot plant and production.
    • Prepare simple application kits or develop concepts into demonstrations that can be used by sales managers during sales visits and trade events.
    • Handle simple to complex flavor and food formulation projects in a timely manner. Interacts with external customers, internal applications scientists and other departments internally as needed in defining specific parameters, objectives, and timelines for projects.


    Education and/or Experience:

    • BS in Food Science or other natural science required. Master’s degree in Food Science preferred.
    • 0 to 10 years post-college experience working in food research and development, applications with food ingredients and formulations, new product development, and team projects
    • Must be comfortable speaking directly with and interacting with customers which are a variety of food and beverage manufacturers around North America
    • Experience working with applications like cheese, dairy products, sauces, dressings, dips, ice cream, or other savory products is a plus.
    • Experience with fermentation chemistry
