Role Overview
You will lead and guide a dynamic network of retail branches across multiple regions. Your focus will be on driving growth in deposits and loan production, expanding membership, and maintaining high levels of member service and satisfaction. You will develop and execute strategies that enhance member acquisition, retention, and engagement, fostering a culture that prioritizes exceptional member experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and strategic direction to branch managers and the AVP team to ensure effective performance, communication, and staff development.
- Act as a senior advisor for branches, addressing member concerns, operational queries, risk management, and HR issues.
- Cultivate a leadership culture that exemplifies high standards and drives consistency in service, performance, and growth initiatives.
- Drive branch sales performance and provide actionable guidance to achieve branch success and growth.
- Support branch staff in adopting new products, technologies, and procedures to optimize sales and service.
- Promote a culture of excellence, motivating employees to excel in knowledge, sales, and customer service.
- Oversee business development efforts, identifying opportunities to meet ambitious growth targets for deposits and loans.
- Engage in community outreach and business development to support organizational goals.
- Collaborate with the Chief Retail Officer to align branch strategies with organizational objectives and address operational challenges.
- Monitor branch performance, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
Qualifications
- 8-10 years of progressive experience in senior retail management within financial institutions. Credit Union experience is a plus.
- Proven track record of achieving branch and regional goals, with strong management and core system knowledge.
- Experience in business development, treasury management, and community outreach is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

- Expertise in sales, business development, and coaching with a solid understanding of financial operations, risk management, and lending.
- Knowledge of marketing, financial principles, and industry regulations.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to anticipate and address challenges.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively and inspire others.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to talk, hear, sit, stand, and walk.
- Travel to branch locations is required.
