Identifies functional problems and suggests resolutions. Being a Test Engineer assists in the definition of internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs. Documents and analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports. Additionally, Test Engineer ensures testing procedures are in compliance with any required industry specific standards. Requires a bachelor's degree of Engineering. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Test Engineer works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Test Engineer
We are seeking a dynamic Test Engineer/Test Driven Developer (Functional Tester) to join our collaborative, multi-disciplinary team in the Washington DC Area. The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving usability, user experience, and driving user adoption and engagement through effective testing strategies. They should have experience in coding, testing, debugging, and implementing web applications using various platforms. This role requires familiarity with automated agile (TDD/BDD) and waterfall methodologies, as well as the skills necessary to ensure successful maintenance of automated unit, acceptance, and regression tests with a focus on early automation.
