Identifies functional problems and suggests resolutions. Being a Test Engineer assists in the definition of internal quality control standards and the maintenance of reliability programs. Documents and analyzes test cases and provides regular progress reports. Additionally, Test Engineer ensures testing procedures are in compliance with any required industry specific standards. Requires a bachelor's degree of Engineering. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Test Engineer works on projects/matters of limited complexity in a support role. Key Responsibilities : Predominantly welding - gaining and maintaining the required welding codes You will be completing tasks related to architectural steelworkUnderstanding information prescribed within Weld Procedure Specifications (WPS)Carrying out all tasks to safety, quality and efficiency standardsNon welding activities eg forming, grinding, operating and fabricatingThe Candidate : Must have experience in reading drawings, fabrication and site work in various aspects of metalwork, ranging from balustrade, staircases to structural steelworkMust have a CSCS cardMust have their own welding mask and general hand tools.
