Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Level 1 or 2 Tax Accountant with at least one year of public accounting experience using GoSystems tax software to prepare individual and business tax returns to join our team. Ideally, the Tax Accountant will be familiar working with high-net-worth clients, their family office, and their closely held businesses.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and eventually review federal, state, multi-state, and local tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations.
- Conduct research on tax laws and regulations.
- Assist with financial planning related to taxes.
- Analyze financial statements for tax implications.
- Provide communication and general client support.

Skills:

- Strong MS Excel and accounting acumen.
- Experience in public accounting tax preparation.
- Proficiency in accounting software, preferably GS.

- Strong desire to eventually be a Tax Advisor and firm Partner

- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.

- Excellent interpersonal and soft people skills.
- Ability to perform balance sheet reconciliations.
- Knowledge of regulatory reporting requirements.
- Excellent account analysis skills.
