Surveillance Operator operates all surveillance computer equipment. Monitors all areas of the property and closely observes a target game, staff member, or customer. Being a Surveillance Operator ensures compliance with applicable gaming regulations. Reports improper activity or disturbances to supervisor or security team for further investigation. Additionally, Surveillance Operator may require a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Surveillance Operator may require 0-1 year of general work experience. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. SUMMARY:
The Surveillance Operator observes activities that occur in all gaming and non-gaming areas. They report all violations of gaming, safety, health and/or policy and procedural violations that occur.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Prefer at least 6 months’ previous experience in similar position within the gaming industry, but willing to train the right candidate
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Nevada Gaming Control Board registration required.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Advanced mathematical comprehension required.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Must have Microsoft Office experience and knowledge of web based programs.
