Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our production team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining various manufacturing machines, ensuring high-quality products are produced efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual fabrication tasks, kitting parts, verification Build of materials is correctly picked and orientated.
- Conduct electrical testing and troubleshooting using Ohmmeters and other specialized tools.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to repair and maintain machinery and equipment.
- Ensure all products meet quality and safety standards by adhering to IPC 610 guidelines.
- Operate logic controllers and other computerized systems to control production processes.
- Measure components using calipers and other precision tools.
- Assemble and install PCBs and other electronic components using surface mount technology.
- Read and interpret schematics and diagrams to troubleshoot and repair electronic assemblies.
- Use hand tools to perform maintenance and repair tasks.
- Collaborate with other production team members to ensure efficient production and minimize downtime.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Proven experience operating and maintaining machinery and equipment.
- Knowledge of surface mount technology and PCB assembly.
- Experience with hand tools and mechanical fabrication techniques.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and computerized systems.
- Basic understanding of electrical and electronic principles.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and diagrams.
- Certification in IPC 610 or equivalent is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Experience with Ohmmeters and other electrical testing equipment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge.
