Our client is a well-known multinational pet food manufacturer and they are looking for a Supply Chain Project Manager to join their growing team on a 9 month contract, with opportunity for extension. The Supply Chain Project Manager will be brought on to lead end-to-end project management activities, including planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling. This role will also manage the team during the build and implementation phases, while carrying out activities to configure software packages and/or manage technical resources or vendors. This role will utilize technical tools and systems such as Jira, Smartsheet, and other project management software to manage project tasks, timelines, and resources. Lastly, this role will be responsible for coordinating testing, go-live, and post implementation support. 1. Project Management:

• Lead end-to-end project management activities, including planning, execution, monitoring, and controlling.

• Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and resource allocations to ensure successful project delivery.

• Identify and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies to minimize disruptions to project timelines and deliverables.

• Regularly report on project status, progress, and key metrics to stakeholders and senior management.

• Manage team during the build and implementation phases, while carrying out activities to configure software packages and/or manage technical resources or vendors

2. Supply Chain and Distribution:

• Work closely with Supply Chain and Distribution teams to optimize inventory management, procurement processes, and distribution strategies.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency gains within the supply chain and distribution network.

• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and products.

3. Technical Expertise:

• Utilize technical tools and systems such as Jira, Smartsheet, and other project management software to manage project tasks, timelines, and resources.

• Applies technical and functional knowledge to manage teams that design solutions which are in line with technical architecture, database design and performance requirements

• Learn, and update current documentation

• Manage team during the build and implementation phases, while carrying out activities to configure software packages and/or manage technical resources or vendors

4. Testing and Go Live:

• Plan, coordinate, and oversee testing activities to validate system functionality, performance, and user acceptance.

• Develop and execute go-live strategies and implementation plans in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

• Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting to address any issues or concerns arising after project deployment.

5. Communication:

• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Distribution, Technical, and Testing teams.

• Coordinates internal and 3rd party resources during development, implementation, and nurturing phases.

• Act as a central point of contact for project-related inquiries, updates, and escalations.

• Ensure clear and timely communication of project goals, objectives, and expectations to all stakeholders.

• Experience level: Experienced
• Minimum 6 years of experience
• Education: Bachelors (required)
