Supply Chain Director - Munich, Germany

Our Client is a leading player in the Food and Beverage industry. With a strong commitment to quality and innovation, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Director to drive excellence in our supply chain operations.

As the Supply Chain Director, you will play a crucial role in optimizing and enhancing our end-to-end supply chain processes. Based in Munich, Germany, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire supply chain function, ensuring efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Leadership:

- Develop and execute strategic initiatives to optimize the supply chain and enhance overall operational efficiency.

- Collaborate with senior leadership to align supply chain strategies with overall business objectives.

2. End-to-End Supply Chain Management:

- Oversee procurement, production planning, logistics, and distribution to ensure seamless operations.

- Implement best practices to improve inventory management and reduce lead times.

3. Supplier Management:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.

- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to achieve favourable agreements.

4. Continuous Improvement:

- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement measures to enhance supply chain performance.

- Utilize data analytics and KPIs to monitor and measure supply chain effectiveness.

5. Risk Management:

- Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to address supply chain disruptions.

- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree is a plus.

- Proven experience in supply chain management, preferably within the Food and Beverage industry or FMCG.

- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- In-depth knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics, and procurement processes.

- Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced proficiency in data analysis tools.
