Student Union Manager manages the operations of the Student Union in accordance with the university or college's policies and procedures. Responsible for managing all functions including coordinating facility use, administering student services and activities, and ensuring proper safety and security measures. Being a Student Union Manager supervises, hires, trains, and evaluates professional and student staff. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Student Union Manager typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Student Union Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.     About the Position

    Implements and administers one or more corporate programs, typically consisting of multiple projects or sub-projects.

    Responsibilities:
    • Executes programs that meet the needs of the organization or its employees or its customers
    • Partners with all key stakeholders, internal and external, on continuous improvement and to drive continuous development
    • Builds and manages relationships with internal and external key stakeholders
    • May manage the work of program staff to ensure deliverables are completed on time and in accordance with established standards and specifications
    • Manages program activities, content, and execution, to include managing action items, identifying risks, and implementing abatement plans for those risks
    • Partners with leadership to identify/triage program improvements as appropriate; provides reports and updates senior management or other stakeholders
    • May participate in all aspects of the program, including planning, budgeting, staffing, and performance
    • Manages and coordinates any training programs, and ensures all presentation material, required technology, and presenters are prepared to maximize the quality of the training experience
    • In conjunction with communications team, develop and execute internal and external communication plan
    • Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers
    • Ensures program activities are in compliance with organizational policies and any relevant external regulations
    • Other responsibilities as required or requested
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience required.
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in Program Management or related field
    • Capable of building and managing relationships with internal and external stakeholders
    • Project management skills
    • Ability to manage and lead cross functional initiatives
    • Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements
    • Ability to drive process and performance improvements
    • Experience working with multiple decision makers and constituencies
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Complex problem-solving ability
    • Detail oriented
