Structural Assembler, Sr. jobs in the United States

We are looking for several hard-working individuals to join our team of experienced and successful Roof /Floor Truss Assemblers for our 2nd and 3rd shifts. This position will be assembling wood framed structures for houses, apartments, hotels, and other types of buildings. Your job duties will include placing cut lumber and connector plates in position on assembly tables, hammering plates, banding complete trusses, and catching sawn lumber off the saw. You may also be framing walls together on assembly tables with nail guns, cutting sheathing, nailing wood components together with a nail gun, or stacking the wall panels.

Previous truss building experience is a plus.

Requirements

• Physically capable of handling 2x4 to 2x10 lumber up to 16’ long
• Lift 50lbs
• Ability in using tools (e.g. hammer, clamps) and machines (e.g. presses)
• Comfortable working at a fast pace
• Strong communication skills
• Maintain equipment in good condition
• Report on issues, malfunction or defective parts
• Reliable transportation
• Capability to get to work on time, everyday
• Ability to pass a drug test

Pay & Hours

• $18.00/Hour
• Over time available
• 2nd Shift: $1/hr differential
• 3rd Shift: $1/hr differential
• 2nd Shift: Monday Through Friday: 1:00 PM to 9:30 PM
• 3rd Shift: Sunday Through Thursday: 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM
