Summary Statement
This incumbent will lead comprehensive strategic and tactical statewide emergency management planning, while maintaining oversight of all planning functions and associated programs. They will ensure appropriate public program services and infrastructure are developed and maintained. The incumbent will have responsibility for the integration of the overall planning functions to support the State Emergency Management Program. This position reports to an appointed official. All DEMA Personnel are considered essential state employees and required to be available 24/7 during emergency activations.
