POSITION SUMMARY
The Sportsbook Writer is responsible to provide a level of service which is gracious, kind and warm that creates an Exciting environment and World Class Service by delivering Old-World Hospitality and Charm for the casino guests. A Sportsbook Writer is a key customer service provider in the sportsbook. They service and build relationships with the guest, write wagering tickets, exchange tickets for currency, execute players’ signups and manages kiosks. Ensure compliance with procedures for the sportsbook in a professional manner. Protect company assets by adhering to company policies and all state and regulatory compliance including Internal Controls, Policies and Procedures, The Responsible Gaming Plan and Title 31.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age, high school diplomate or equivalent and have an interest in sports and related activities. Three (3) months experience in sportsbook operations as a sports writer or six (6) months casino experience preferred. Results oriented, hands-on professional with the ability to interact effectively with the public, staff and colleagues. Possess professionalism and ability to handle high levels of stress and comprehensive math skills. This position spends majority of the shift on in the sportsbook area and is subject to varying levels of crowds and noise levels the severity of which depends upon customer volume. Ability to read, analyze, interpret and comprehend technical procedures, government regulations, instructions, and correspondence/memos in English.
