    The Production Manager role for EBD will focus on managing small teams to bring assigned projects from pre-production meeting through execution. You will be responsible for building out team schedules and task lists to ensure all aspects of assigned events are completed by

    yourself and/or your team.


    The Senior Lead Tech role for EBD will focus on complete execution of assigned events (prep/load/set/ros/strike/warehouse reload). Once assigned a project, this position will be responsible for planning equipment and labor needs, as well as keeping projects on time and on-scope. You will be required to operate as a lead AV tech for ROS on (#TBD) events, as well as the lead on production only events.


    Responsibilities:

    You will work under the direction of the Director of Production (DOP) and Operations Manager for Events By Design and during this time your responsibilities will be, but not limited to:


    Production Manager:

    • You will have 4-8 Production Techs under your supervision to complete tasks
    • Provide leadership, support, and direction to team members
    • Develop and maintain a 2 week schedule for your team
    • Manage their daily tasks and time usage, holding them accountable
    • Train and develop team members working under you
    • Production support: Lead a small team to complete on-site event installations
    • Preparation and packing
    • Load In
    • Operation
    • Load Out
    • Unloading
    • Possess ldquo;Big Picture View rdquo; of Production department- forecast and plan for events
    • Identify obstacles and provide solutions prior to load in at your team rsquo;s events
    • Warehouse management
    • Check equipment in and out
    • Keep it clean and organized
    • Coordinate logistical, labor, and equipment needs with Director of Production and

    Operations Manager in a timely manner prior to event

    • Work professionally and respectfully with clients, vendors, and team members

    throughout process both in-person and via email/phone

    • Various tasks as directed by Director of Production


    Senior Lead Tech:

    • Ability to operate and lead a team in a high pressure, time sensitive environment
    • Supervising and directing a cross functional team of up to 10 event staff on-site
    • Operate live events as needed
    • Ability to learn and develop AV/Production skills to better serve clients, coworkers, and

    the company as a whole

    • Partner with appropriate departments to determine technical and logistical/operation

    needs for events based on client needs.

    • Troubleshoot onsite issues, make production decisions and own outcomes
    • Assist sales team with any post-sale changes or needs on assigned projects
    • Assist with gear rental as assigned
    • Create pull sheets and event plans for all assigned events
    • Total ownership of events assigned to you
    • Conduct venue/site visits as needed to obtain necessary details for show success
    • Work professionally and respectfully with clients, vendors, and team members

    throughout process both in-person and via email/phone, responding in a timely manner
