Job Title: Leased FacOps Support Engineer (SME) III
Location: Ashburn, VA (Onsite)
Duration: 12 months contract with possibility of extension (on W2)
Description:
This role will support and report to the leased facility technical team. A highly motivated, self-starter with a proven technical skillset focused in electrical engineering, data center operations, and/or controls is required. Perform routine maintenance tasks in accordance with client's Safety Policy and Procedures. Regularly inspect buildings, grounds and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions. Troubleshoot, evaluate and recommend system upgrades. Order parts and supplies for maintenance and repairs. Create, review, and implement site specific MPs and SOPs. 50 FacOps Assets, asset tagged and bulk "received" in tointo inventory/SeRF and CMMS to include certain key Landlord assets (i.e. MSBs, SBs, UPS, and PDUs) for maintenance/impact coordination.

Responsibilities:
Serve as an onsite technical resource of electrical infrastructure systems and equipment, with an emphasis on practical field operation
Ensure appropriate cross-functional collaboration between local electrical team and applicable local and global teams
Contribute to the electrical safety program for site
Plan resource, author or approve work procedures to cover electrical troubleshooting, repair, retrofit, and maintenance activities, with an emphasis on assessing & mitigating personnel and critical systems and operational risk
Conduct or oversee hands-on troubleshooting, repair, retrofit, and maintenance of electrical equipment
Oversee electrical system configurations and component upgrades to ensure system integrity is maintained and that all modifications to existing systems are following best practices, including change control processes
Provide Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QAQC) oversight of construction projects & maintenance activity
Lead and/or participate in root-cause analysis activities in the area of expertise
Provide training to Critical Facility Engineers and other cross-functional teams on electrical equipment, systems, procedures, and changes
Manage vendor relationships for electrical maintenance and retrofit work
Provide feedback on global electrical maintenance strategies and global electrical system design improvements.
