Software Architect is responsible for the structural design and development of new software systems or extensive software revisions for external customers. Analyzes software requirements and defines system components to ensure efficient and scalable software architecture. Being a Software Architect designs and implements software solutions to consider business and technical needs and ensures compatibility with existing systems. Creates and maintains architecture documentation such as design specifications and diagrams to guide future maintenance and development. Additionally, Software Architect works with non-technical stakeholders to analyze requirements and understand constraints, dependencies, and business needs. Has in-depth knowledge of software development processes and methodologies. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager. The Software Architect work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. To be a Software Architect typically requires 7+ years of related experience. We are recruiting for an ECommerce Solutions Architect to join our team in Lincolnshire. The ideal candidate will have an ERP implementation background and worked in integrating capabilities with similar AI products.
The Role:
- Design and architect solutions that meet business requirements and align with the enterprise architecture, focusing on products such as SymphonyAI or similiar
- Develop and document high-level solution designs (HLD / LLD ) and detailed technical specifications for SymphonyAI MDM and S&R
- Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers and other 3rd party providers to ensure solutions are implemented as designed.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring optimal use of SymphonyAI solutions.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and meet performance requirements
- Evaluate and recommend tools, and processes to improve solution delivery
- Work with stakeholders to understand and address technical and business challenges specific to the current systems
What you will bring:
- Extensive experience in solution architecture and design, with specific experience in implementing SymphonyAI or similar technologies.
- Strong technical background in software development and system integration, especially with MDM, S&R, and F&R solutions.
- Experience with enterprise applications, databases, and cloud technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
