General Description:
As an integral member of the Fund Development Team, the Communications Specialist tells the story of LSS through a variety of mediums to meet annual fundraising goal of $1.6 million. The Communications Specialist is sharply focused on maintaining consistent, evocative, and heartwarming communications geared toward our supporters, while also strengthening our brand's presence throughout Arizona.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in journalism, communications, marketing or related field or commensurate experience in a nonprofit environment.
Additional Expectations
This position will require working evenings and weekends. Employee will be required to travel within Phoenix metro area as well as Mesa and possible other surrounding cities to visit church and community partners. Candidate must possess a valid Arizona driver's license and fingerprint clearance card. Must have reliable transportation, a valid AZ driver license and current automobile insurance.
