Our company specializes in high-quality, high volume pick-and pack services for Canadian and US customers.
We are located in the Blaine area and are looking for a manager for a small team that works exclusively with one client. Although this is a management position that entails managing staff, inventory, schedules, and the customer relationship, it is also a HANDS-ON job that will require helping the team pick, pack, and ship on a daily basis.
Job Responsibilities:
· Fostering professional, concise, and positive daily communication with various groups within the customer’s organization regarding order status, inventory, and shipping throughout the business day.
· Inventory management of over 1500 SKUs.
· Picking, packing, and shipping 20-70 orders a day.
· Strict adherence to quality processes.
· Ensuring safety standards are rigorously followed.
· Constantly looking for ways and taking initiative to improve processes efficiency, safety, and quality.
· Managing a team of 3 to 5 employees dedicated to supporting this key account.
The Ideal Candidate:
· Two to five years pick-and-pack/order processing experience in a high-volume environment.
· Good experience with shipping systems (UPS, USPS, FedEx).
· 2 year direct staff management experience (at least 3 employees) and accomplished at helping staff realize their top potential.
· Proven track record of being a positive team leader.
· Constantly exhibit a “can do” attitude.
· High level of attention to detail.
· Positively motive others to bring their best performance daily.
· Highly customer driven and an excellent team player.
