Wednesday to Thursday 6am - 2pm; Friday to Sunday 2pm to 10pm.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Read and apply Screening SOP.
Assist SSM in scheduling Screening Officers.
Interact effectively across diverse cultures.
Monitor traffic flow of checkpoints and recommend staffing adjustments as necessary.
Follow proper procedure for all matters requiring escalation.
Be proficient in both walk-thru and hand-held metal detectors.
Collect shift activity reports and turn in to SSM for review.
Conduct shift pass down to include inspection of Screening Officers for proper uniform and equipment.
Ensure all posts are properly staffed.
Maintain screening stations in accordance with the Screening SOP.
Ensure proper screening technique is utilized.
Conduct drills on Screening SOP requirements.
Observe each Screening Officer for both proper technique and verbal instruction to person being screened.
Conduct spot remediation training when improper techniques and /or verbal instructions by Screening Officers are observed.
Relieve Screening Officers for break/lunch
Respond to escalations.
Escalate issues and/or violations to the SSM.
Perform function checks on walk through metal detector (WTMD) and hand held metal detector (HHMD) at the beginning of each shift.
Inform Screening Officers of new or updated procedures and perform practical exercise before utilization.
Inquire with persons being screened for feedback on the screening process.
Document and inform SSM of Screening Officers who are not meeting the Screening SOP standards.
Required to know, follow, and enforce safe work practices, and to be aware of company policies and procedures related to job safety, including safety rules and regulations. Employees are required to notify superiors upon becoming aware of unsafe working conditions.
Ensure all functions, duties or tasks are to be carried out in an honest, ethical and professional manner, and to be performed in conformance with applicable company policies and procedures. In the event of uncertainty or lack of knowledge of company policies and procedures, employees are required to request clarification or explanations from superiors or authorized company representative.
Education/Experience: High School Diploma or G.E.D. and 2 years of related experience, or an an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company. Minimum 2 years of experience in retail preferred.
