We are seeking a dedicated Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol premises regularly to maintain order and establish a security presence
- Monitor and authorize entrance of vehicles or people in the property
- Remove wrongdoers or trespassers from the area
- Secure all exits, doors, and windows after end of operations
- Investigate people for suspicious activity or possessions
- Respond to alarms by investigating and assessing the situation
- Provide assistance to people in need
- Submit reports of daily surveillance activity and important occurrences
Qualifications:
- Certificate in security training preferred
- Knowledge of CCTV systems and surveillance equipment
- CPR certification is a plus
- Military or law enforcement background is advantageous
- Proficient in conflict management and crisis intervention
- Familiarity with loss prevention techniques
- First aid skills are desirable
