Bergdorf Goodman is seeking a dedicated and vigilant Seated Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our customers, employees, and merchandise. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring the store premises, preventing theft, and responding to any security incidents while seated at a designated station.
• Monitor Surveillance: Observe security cameras and monitor all areas of the store for suspicious activity or potential security risks.
• Customer Service: Greet and assist customers as they enter and exit the store, providing a visible security presence and deterring potential theft.
• Incident Response: Quickly and effectively respond to security incidents, alarms, or emergencies, coordinating with store management and law enforcement as necessary.
• Report Writing: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all security incidents, observations, and daily activities.
• Policy Enforcement: Ensure all security policies and procedures are followed by customers and staff, including access control and safety regulations.
• Loss Prevention: Actively participate in loss prevention strategies by identifying and addressing shoplifting and internal theft.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with store personnel and management to relay important security information and updates.
