Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Field Technician at Cerberus Safety Systems, LLC in St Albans, WV. The Field Technician will be responsible for performing installation, maintenance, and repair of low-voltage systems, including video surveillance, intrusion detection alarms, access controls, automation, networking, VOIP, audio & video, fire alarms, fire extinguishers, suppression systems, and sprinklers. They will also troubleshoot system issues, conduct regular inspections, and provide technical support to customers.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in low-voltage system installation, maintenance, and repair
• Knowledge of low-voltage system components, including video surveillance, intrusion detection alarms, access controls, automation, networking, VOIP, audio & video, fire alarms, fire extinguishers, suppression systems, and sprinklers
• Experience troubleshooting low-voltage system issues
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to pass alcohol and drug screening
• Previous experience in the low-voltage industry is a plus
• Technical certifications in low-voltage systems are a plus
