Rig Operator is responsible for operation of the rig, crew, and equipment and for ensuring customer satisfaction with all services rendered. Ensures that all crew are at the rig and ready to work at scheduled time. Being a Rig Operator maintains productivity standards for all rig functions. Maintains a safe working environment and ensures compliance of applicable regulations and policies. Additionally, Rig Operator may require a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Rig Operator supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Rig Operator typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Prepare, perform, and validate testing activities.
Ensure all tests are carried out in an efficient manner and validate the tests.
Minimize the installation time as well as optimize test cycle efficiency in test cells.
Produce useful data for engineering and follow up activities in the test facilities to establish relevant KPI.
Support with instrumenting trucks, and data collection.
Associate degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, or similar field.
Positive mind-set, great work ethic and a can-do attitude is required.
Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to function well in teams is required.
Must have CDL Class A Driver License.
