The Restaurant Shift Manager is responsible for assisting with all duties pertaining to front of the house operations for the casino during the absence of the Restaurant Manager. Duties include assisting with secretarial and administrative work, handling of interviews for the department and selecting new hires and handling training and development of all new staff. Also ensures the quality of food in the restaurant and deli establishments are exceeding the needs of our casino patrons while ensuring compliance with all established policies and procedures. Delegates work as needed, prepares daily reports as directed, makes menu recommendations and offerings and monitors food temperatures as needed. Also provides superior guest service while assisting guests of the casino with any dining inquiries and may assist with Food Server, Hostess and Busser duties as needed. Performs other job related duties as assigned by the department manager.
