Residential Living Assistant, Sr. provides individualized care to the patients of a group home or residential living facility. Assists the patients on daily basis with personal care and hygiene. Being a Residential Living Assistant, Sr. transports patients within the facility or on supervised outings. May assist with meetings and appointments with healthcare providers. Additionally, Residential Living Assistant, Sr. administer medications under the supervision of a nurse or physician. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Residential Living Assistant, Sr. works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. An Activities Assistant is responsible for planning, implementing, coordinating, and evaluating a program of therapeutic recreational activities for residents.- Establish, promote, and support programs fostering enjoyment and overall wellness.
- Consult with other departments in implementing appropriate activities for Residents.
- Assist in coordinating transportation for scheduled activities and resident appointments
- May occasionally be responsible for resident transportation
- Assist in preparation of monthly Community newsletter
