Residential Living Assistant provides individualized care to the patients of a group home or residential living facility. Assists the patients on daily basis with personal care and hygiene. Being a Residential Living Assistant transports patients within the facility or on supervised outings. Administers and records medications given to residents. Additionally, Residential Living Assistant may administer medications under the supervision of a nurse or physician. Requires a high school diploma or its equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Residential Living Assistant possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Qualifications and Experience: Minimum of two years related experience as Residential Advisor or related supervisory experience in a similar environment is preferred. Associate’s Degree form a College or University and /or equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered subject to DOL approval of a waiver. Valid state driver’s license required.
