Residential Living Assistant is responsible for assisting residents with daily activities in a skilled nursing, assisted living, or similar facility. Assists with administering medications, documenting care provided, and communicating with healthcare professionals. Being a Residential Living Assistant may assist with the planning and executing of activities for residents on a regularly scheduled basis. May accompany residents on shopping trips, medical appointments, and other outings. Additionally, Residential Living Assistant requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Residential Living Assistant works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area.
