Regional Support Manager manages an operational support function in a specific geographic area providing guidance to branches on matters of compliance, service, and quality. Conducts routine and preventative quality assurance processes to monitor customer satisfaction and revenue results and ensure policy compliance for branches in designated region. Being a Regional Support Manager provides operational support and resources to investigate and resolve any problems or losses incurred in the day to day operations of branches. May require a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Regional Support Manager typically reports to top management. The Regional Support Manager typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a Regional Support Manager typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience. Job Summary- Provides excellent service to patients, visitors and quality support to physicians and other clinic staff.
- Registers patients, verifies and enters accurate information, answers multiple phone lines, schedules appointments, and performs various clerical duties.
- Must have 6 months experience in the healthcare field, excellent communication skills, some knowledge of Word and Outlook, good data entry/typing skills and a strong ability to multi-task.
- Prefer knowledge of medical terminology and EMR experience.
Education- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Computer knowledge required.
- Prefer additional education in medical terminology, electronic medical record training, or business classes.
- One year clerical experience and six months health-care experience are required preferably in a similar role.
- Prefer medical office, insurance, referral and prior authorization, hospital or computer experience.
- Keyboard skills accurate 40 wpm.
- Expertise in customer relations, telephone skills and computer applications is required.
Compensation/Benefits- $13.74-$22.44/hr depending on previous work experience.
