Refinery Operator jobs in Connecticut
Refinery Operator controls equipment systems that process natural gas or petroleum into specified products. Responsibilities include monitoring pressure and flow and reading gauges and adjusting valves as needed. Being a Refinery Operator requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Refinery Operator works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. - 40-hour Hazwoper training preferred.
- Able to wear PPE when needed.
- Must be willing to join the Local Union.
