We are seeking a skilled Radio Technician to join our team. As a Radio Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing radio communication systems. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise and attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot radio communication systems
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on radio equipment
- Conduct tests and inspections to ensure proper functioning of equipment
- Collaborate with team members to identify and resolve technical issues
- Keep accurate records of work performed and equipment inventory
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in radio technology
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proven experience as a Radio Technician or similar role
- Strong knowledge of radio communication systems and equipment
- Familiarity with Motorola, Kenwood, Icom, and other related technologies
- Proficient in using hand tools for equipment repair
- Experience with fiber splicing and electrical work is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Willing to travel
