PROVIDER NETWORK MANAGER manages the network of healthcare providers to ensure effective operations and coverage of services. Researches and collects information to evaluate healthcare providers and assist with network development. Being a PROVIDER NETWORK MANAGER manages, reviews, and renews contracts with healthcare providers, evaluating terms, expectations, and compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. Facilitates positive relations with providers, acting as a primary point of contact, resolving questions and concerns, and providing support and resources to ensure services meet standards. Additionally, PROVIDER NETWORK MANAGER recruits, hires, and trains staff and oversees credentialing. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a director. The PROVIDER NETWORK MANAGER manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a PROVIDER NETWORK MANAGER typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1-3 years supervisory experience may be required. BEK Communications, a local Cooperative, continues to grow and seeks a motivated Network Service Sales Manager, focused on its network footprint in South Central North Dakota. The 100% fiber network covers a geographical area of over 7,000 square miles consisting of small towns, rural farmsteads and housing developments outside of the Bismarck and Mandan cities.

    Purpose:

    Drive residential and business sales opportunities through door-to-door sales, digital sales, media sales and networking throughout the communities BEK serves. Providing individual consumers with basic services such as telephone, internet, TV, surveillance cameras, whole-home WiFi connectivity and networking solutions. The ideal candidate will also work with apartment managers, local builders, insurance agencies and realtors to drive referrals to increase sales.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Sales Strategy Development:
      • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth in network services. Work targeted sales campaigns through door-to-door efforts and networking within BEK’s service area to drive results.
      • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base within the network services market. Identify individual customer’s current and potential product needs and make recommendations. Increase the customers’ understanding of BEK products and pricing options.
      • Understand market trends and customers’ needs to shape service offerings and sales pitches. Possess a strong knowledge of product features, benefits, pricing and campaigns across all BEK products and in an effort to sell and upselling to new and existing customers by door-to-door sales, digital sales, media sales and community sales events within the territory.
    2. Customer Relationship Management:
      • Build and maintain strong relationships based on trust and mutual respect with potential and existing customers. Travel to new and growing markets in BEK service area for sales campaigns.
      • Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction to support retention and repeat business. Meet or exceed defined goals, clearly explain and demonstrate equipment and functionality of all BEK products.
    3. Team Leadership and Collaboration:
      • Maintain regular attendance as required by your position.
      • Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales professionals, ensuring alignment with BEK business goals and sales objectives.
      • Collaborate with cross functional teams such as technical support, product development, and customer service to ensure successful delivery of network services.
    4. Sales Targets and Forecasting:
      • Set and manage sales targets for the sales team and track performance against those targets.
      • Use data and analytics to forecast sales trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
    5. Negotiation and Closing Deals:
      • Lead negotiations with customers, ensuring contracts and agreements are mutually beneficial and aligned with the company’s goals and sales objectives.
      • Close deals in a timely manner and ensure seamless handover to implementation and support teams.
    6. Market Knowledge:
      • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies and competitor offerings in the network services space.
      • Attend industry events and network with potential customers and partners to increase visibility of BEK and BEK services and new business opportunities.
    7. Reporting and Analysis:
      • Provide regular reports to senior management on sales performance, market conditions, and customer feedback.
      • Continuously analyze sales data to improve processes and achieve sales goals.

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Sales Expertise: Strong background in direct consumer and B2B sales, ideally in network services or technology solutions.
    • Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with network technologies such as wired and wireless network connections, cloud networking, cybersecurity, and managed services.
    • Leadership Skills: Ability to lead and motivate a sales team while fostering collaboration with other departments.
    • Customer-Centric: Strong focus on understanding client needs and delivering solutions.
    • Communication Skills: Clear and effective communication with both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
    • Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze sales data, track performance, and adjust strategies as needed to win in the market.

    Educational Background:

    • 10 years of sales experience in network services sales, communications service sales or broadband service sales or is highly preferred.
