Property Casualty Underwriting Manager manages and oversees the property/casualty insurance underwriting program for individuals and/or groups, such as accident insurance, crime insurance, loss of property insurance etc. Implements guidelines and procedures regarding risk exposure, application renewal, acceptance, modification, and denial. Leads and trains the underwriters to ensure integrity of property and casualty underwriting activities and processes. Being a Property Casualty Underwriting Manager experienced in risk management and complex applications. Provides consultative support for large accounts. Additionally, Property Casualty Underwriting Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires certification as a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Property Casualty Underwriting Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Job Summary:
The property manager is responsible for oversight of the day to day operations of a portfolio of properties. They will provide support and management for the properties and the rest of the team. Responsibilities include monitoring rent collections and delinquencies, lease enforcement, coordination with the maintenance department, resident and investor relationships, annual operating budget creation, auditing financial reports and working closely with local and state housing compliance departments. The property manager is expected to maintain and enhance the value of the real estate assets, in order to maximize the investors's financial return, and for the benefit of the residents and the community. Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
-At least two years of Property Management or Property Maintenance experience
- Candidates must be upbeat, friendly, tech-savvy, and team players
- Must have a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle
- Must be able to interact with co-workers, supervisors, residents, and the general public in a professional and pleasant manner
