Negotiates and prepares contracts by considering the financial conditions, resources, and contractual requirements. Being a Program Manager develops new business and expands product line. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departments. Additionally, Program Manager ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as advisor to program team regarding projects, tasks, and operations. Prepares proposals to win new programs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a department head. The Program Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Position Qualifications: | Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Science, Psychology, Sociology, Public Health, or related field. Four years of related experience. Must have personal transportation and be willing to conduct work travel within the state of Oklahoma. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required, as is a strong ability to organize and conceptualize large amounts of information. Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Social Work, Community Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy. Hiring preference will be given to those candidates with prior experience working with families, schools, and communities through parent education, school-based prevention, or community health education. Expertise in community-based research is preferred. |
