Production Maintenance Supervisor supervises staff that performs maintenance service and repairs to complex electrical and mechanical production equipment and systems. Implements standard procedures to monitor equipment for performance, safety, and effectiveness. Being a Production Maintenance Supervisor coordinates resources for troubleshooting equipment repairs. Reviews and supports equipment failure analysis and troubleshooting resolutions. Job Responsibilities:
· The essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Monitor, inspect and service company equipment and machinery, including mechanical and electrical components.
· Troubleshoot, repair and restore company equipment and machinery.
· Perform preventative maintenance duties including the upkeep and organization of maintenance records.
· Perform building and facilities repair and basic building maintenance.
· Responsible for using safe procedures and following safety protocols at all times.
Requirements:
· High school diploma or equivalent.
· Ability to work long hours when necessary.
· Minimum of two (2) years of previous leading a maintenance team in repairing and maintaining manufacturing machinery. Knowledge of blow molding equipment is a plus.
· Strong mechanical aptitude with excellent problem solving skills.
· Ability to respond to after-hours calls when required.
· The ideal candidate will have experience with hydraulic/pneumatic repairs and PLC/Electric troubleshooting. Experience in 480 3 phase and DC drive units a must.
