Production Control Clerk performs clerical tasks that support production control and ensure the efficient flow of materials required by production schedules. Monitors the inventory of parts, components, and raw materials and coordinates ordering, invoicing, and scheduling with vendors. Being a Production Control Clerk tracks status of customer orders and production schedules to identify issues or delays and coordinates with stakeholders to expedite orders and resolve problems. Inputs and maintains production data in ERP, MRP, or other databases. Additionally, Production Control Clerk requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. The Production Control Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. POSITION SUMMARY
The Production Control Clerk generates work orders, compiles and records production data for program management to compare records and reports on volume of production, consumption of material, quality control, and other aspects of production.

SKILLS & ABILITIES
Education: High School diploma/GED required. Associate degree in a business related field is preferred.
Experience: 1-3 years of manufacturing/production experience required. Experience serving a demanding production environment and understanding how to meet their needs. HVAC product knowledge is preferred.
Computer Skills: Ability to type a minimum of 35 wpm. Skilled with MS Office Suite including MS Excel.
