Production Control Clerk performs clerical tasks that support production control and ensure the efficient flow of materials required by production schedules. Monitors the inventory of parts, components, and raw materials and coordinates ordering, invoicing, and scheduling with vendors. Being a Production Control Clerk tracks status of customer orders and production schedules to identify issues or delays and coordinates with stakeholders to expedite orders and resolve problems. Inputs and maintains production data in ERP, MRP, or other databases. Additionally, Production Control Clerk requires a high school diploma. Typically reports to a manager. The Production Control Clerk works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Looking for individual to perform data and product entry into store inventory.
Perform duties related to receiving,inspecting, storage and entering product into inventory.
Utilize computer to both record and control inventory control.
Perform typing, filing, and maintain detailed records.
Perform in store inventory quarterly.
Checks the accuracy of pricing of materials and product.
Provide conversation through verbal and written documentation to management and lab on status of product.
Provide good communication to customers of finished product.
