Assistant Production Analyst
As Assistant Production Analyst, he/she will be required to ensure that all standards and targets are met and all lines are running efficiently. The Assistant Production Analyst will assist the Production Manager plan and assign work, implement policies and procedures, and recommend improvements in production methods, equipment, operating procedures and working conditions. Training will be provided.
Responsibilities:
· Assist with developing, organizing and managing the production department with regard to daily hours, schedules, productivity, quality and safety
· Implement appropriate actions to ensure production staff process quality product to all customers in a safe, efficient and productive manner
· Ensure compliance with all federal, state and international regulatory requirements, including OSHA, FDA, USDA and applicable manufacturing and food handling regulations.
· Ensure on-time and accurate production in the preparation of product and equipment.
· Assist with Quality Assurance to resolve issues
· Train and help improve technical skills of operators, by ensuring proper training is provided on operating and safety procedures, equipment, and controls
· Ensure inventory accuracy, including proper labeling of all inventory
· Maintain accurate reporting needed to monitor production rates, yields and quality cost variances
· Monitor and enforce work rules, regarding attendance and all policies and procedures
· Monitor performance of operators and institute corrective action when necessary
· Maintain proactive communication with Supervisors and Management
