$23.25/hourly 

Summary

The Extrusion Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of plastic strap manufacturing equipment to produce a quality finished product, which meets or exceeds the customer’s expectations.

Essential Functions

? Initiate, change, and install receipt blends.

? Demonstrate and understand basic concepts of blend formulation.

? Maintain work area in a safe, clean, and orderly manner.

? Calibrate color feeder for additive changes.

? Monitor all product characteristics and make appropriate adjustments.

? Complete all required documentation in a timely manner.

? Set up line, lace, verify blends, and verify SOC.

? Assist Group Leader, maintenance, and/or other operators as required.

? Perform a complete shutdown and a cold start-up as needed.

? Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Production or Sr. Operator experience preferred.
